Mysuru: A modern modular food court is coming up at Jayadeva Hospital on KRS Road here to cater to the needs of patients, their attendants and doctors at affordable rates.
On his visit to the hospital yesterday, Jayadeva Institute of Cardio-Vascular Diseases, Bengaluru Director Dr. C.N. Manjunath said that the Rs.2.5 crore food court is being constructed utilising internal resources, which will have a modern modular kitchen with automated dish washers and a good seating facility to accommodate 120 people with a separate enclosure for doctors. He added that the food would be made in hygienic condition and available at affordable rates.
Continuing, Dr. Manjunath said that other new inclusions coming up are courts for badminton, volleyball and an indoor facility for table tennis, gymnasium, yoga centre and a library, all meant to de-stress the doctors and staff. He added that 1,500 saplings would also be planted at the hospital premises.
Medical Superintendent Dr. Sadanand, RMO Dr. Pandurangaiah, Nursing Superintendent Harish Kumar, PRO Vani Mohan and others were present.
