Mohammed Nalapad takes over as State Youth Congress Chief

February 1, 2022

Bengaluru: Mohammed Nalapad, son of Bengaluru’s Shantinagar MLA N.A. Haris (Nalapad Ahmed Haris), took office as the new President of the State Youth Congress at the KPCC office here on Monday.

Nalapad, who had bagged the highest number of votes in the polls held for KPCC Youth President’s post last year, was disqualified on grounds of impropriety and subsequently Raksha Ramaiah, son of former Minister M.R. Seetharam, who came second in the polls was appointed as the President, as a compromise formula that was reached between the two warring factions of the party. Now, after the expiry of Raksha Ramaiah’s agreed period, Mohammed Nalapad took over as the new State Youth Congress Chief yesterday.
