September 19, 2026

Mysuru: Marking the 76th birthday celebration of Prime Minister Modi (Sept. 17), MP Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar launched ‘Save Hindu Temples’ campaign  under ‘Seva Sankalpa’ initiative, near  the famed 101 Ganapathi temple in Agrahara this morning.

Speaking on the occasion, Yaduveer said that our religious beliefs, temples and customs have been deeply rooted in our country’s rich cultural heritage and values. “Our temples, customs, rituals  and religious practices are very much part of our cultural pride for generations. This campaign is aimed at providing a practical solution for Hindus who are confused over  maintenance and conservation of  damaged idols and photos of deities,” he pointed out.
