MUDA reclaims six corner sites worth Rs. 6 crore

Mysore/Mysuru: The Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA), which has begun the encroachment clearance drive in its properties since a few days, has reclaimed six corner sites worth Rs. 6 crore at Devanur 1st Stage here yesterday.

As illegal sheds were constructed on site numbers 1142, 1162, 1698, 1699, 1728 and 1727 (four sites measuring 40×60 and two 30×40 sites) at Devanur 1st Stage layout formed under Asha Mandira project, MUDA Commissioner Dr. D.B. Natesh, along with Superintending Engineer Shankar, Executive Engineers M.R. Panduranga and G. Suvarna, Zonal Officers G. Mohan, S.K. Bhaskar, C. Kiran, K.R. Mahesh, H.P. Shivanna and H.N. Ravindrakumar, Assistant Executive Engineer Raghavendra and others, who went to the spot along with an earth moving machine, demolished the illegal structures and reclaimed the properties.
