After taking part in the demonstration, members of the All India Milli Council met at a private hotel close to Highway Junction.

Addressing the meeting, the Council’s City Unit President Maulana Zakaullah said that the minorities support to the Congress was dwindling after the 1992 Babri Masjid demolition incident.

Maintaining that Muslims have not been voting for the Congress since then, he said that the Congress must correct itself by giving representation to Tanveer Sait in future Cabinet rejig.

Maulana Mohammad Ul Hussain, Akbar Qasim,  Inayathullah Rehman, Salam Razvi and Ibrahim Razvi, Jameel Ashraf and others were present.
