Mysore Palace re-opens for visitors

Mysore/Mysuru: The Mysore Palace, which was shut last week after a Camel Caretaker in the Palace premises tested positive for COVID-19, re-opened for tourists and visitors from yesterday. 

After the Palace was closed for tourists, the entire Palace premises was sanitised and disinfected for three days.

Following sanitisation, the Palace re-opened for the public on Monday, according to the Palace Board Deputy Director T.S. Subramanya. 

It is mandatory for everyone visiting the Palace to wear face mask, use hand sanitisers and maintain social distancing, he added.
