Mysuru: The Mysore Race Club (MRC) Limited will be commencing the Mysore Summer Races-2026, which shall unfold from tomorrow (May 27) and continue across 11 distinguished race days, each Wednesday, in succession. [See table below for Racing Fixtures]

Stakemoney: The advertised stakemoney for the season amounts to an impressive Rs. 4 crore, inclusive of cups and trophies.

Sweepstake Races: Four sweepstake races, each a million race, shall be conducted during the season. These contests are expected to attract the finest three-and-four-year-old horses from across the nation.

Horses, Trainers & Jockeys: Approximately 460 horses are currently stabled at MRC Limited, with additional participation expected from outstation horses.

In light of the cessation of racing, the Club has accommodated 125 horses migrated from Chennai and has granted “A” Trainers’ licenses to several Chennai-based professionals who have relocated to Mysuru.

Around 34 local trainers, along with select outstation trainers, shall present their charges during the season.

Nearly 100 Jockeys, including the foremost riders of the Indian racing circuit, are expected to grace the Mysuru track, ensuring contests of thrilling excellence.

Totalisators: Approximately 100 betting terminals shall be in operation, offering patrons a seamless wagering experience.

Admission: The entrance fee for the public to witness the Mysore Summer Races-2026 has been fixed at Rs. 200.

Lucky Draw: The popular Lucky Draw shall be conducted on all Mysore Race Days. Winners will be selected from the counterfoils of entrance tickets and the prizes shall be awarded as follows: First Prize: Rs. 3,000; Second Prize: Rs. 2,000; Third Prize: Rs. 1,000.
