Mysore University Evening College Principal passes away

Mysuru: Dr. S. Anjaneya, Principal, Mysore University Evening College and a resident of Dattagalli, near Triveni Market, passed away at a private hospital in city this morning. He was 61.

Dr. Anjayeya, who had been to meet the Vice-Chancellor yesterday afternoon, collapsed following a heart attack and was admitted to the hospital where he breathed his last today. He leaves behind his wife, a son, a daughter and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites will be held this evening.

A native of Chitradurga, he was serving for the past 35 years in the University and was appointed as the Principal of the Evening College two years ago. He was to retire in May next year.
