Mysuru: The University of Mysore (UoM) has awarded Ph.D in English to C.R. Sindhu for her thesis ‘Mapping the maple: A reading of Robert Kroetsch’s Novels’ submitted under the guidance of Dr. Vijay Sheshadri.

P.R. Ranganath has been awarded Ph.D in Psychology for his thesis ‘Academic stress in relation to shyness among students purusing professional and non-professional courses’ [Guide: Dr. Lancy D’Souza].

M.K. Anil Kumar has been awarded Ph.D in Social Work for his thesis ‘A study on the participation of youth in the National Service Scheme in the Jurisdiction of the University of Mysore: Perception of student volunteers’ [Guide: Dr. Y.S. Siddegowda].

D. Srinivasa has been awarded Ph.D in Social Work for his thesis ‘ A study on the role of stakeholders in the protection of child rights in  Karnataka’ [Guide: Dr. Y.S. Siddegowda].

N.K. Vrunda has been awarded Ph.D in Kannada for her thesis ‘Nagire mattu Haduvalli Arasara Kaalada Kannada Sahitya’ [Guide: Dr. Vishwanatha].

T. Rajesh has been awarded Ph.D in Economics for his thesis ‘Employement, wages and social security in unorganised sector: A case study of Ramanagara District, Karnataka’ [Guide: Dr. O.D. Heggade].

D. Rajendra Kodambalker has been awarded Ph.D in  History by the UoM for his thesis ‘Bidar Jilleya Madiga Janangada Ondu Samskrutika Adhyayana’ [Guide: Dr. Sugitha Suvarna].

K, Mahadevaswamy has been awarded Ph.D in History by the UoM for his thesis ‘Mysuru Samsthanadalli Samajika Badalavane: Prajapratinidigala Patra 1881-1941’ submitted under the guidance of Dr. Aswathanarayana.

K.N. Rekha has been awarded Ph.D in Kannada for her thesis ‘Kannada Kavyaparampareyalli Srikrishna Patra Parikalpane’ [Guide: Dr. Vijayakumar S. Karikal].
