Mysurean killed after car topples while avoiding pig

T. Narasipur:  A 33-year-old man from Mysuru, was killed when he lost control of the car and ploughed into the agricultural field and toppled while trying to avoid a pig near Gargeshwari on Wednesday night. Two of his friends, who were travelling with him, have sustained serious injuries.

The deceased is Y.S. Dushyanth, son of Srikantaradhya, a resident of Vivekanandanagar in T. Narasipur. Dushyanth is a resident of J.P. Nagar in Mysuru. Dushyanth’s friends, who sustained serious injuries, are Suresh and Dayanand. They have been admitted to a private hospital in Mysuru.

On Wednesday night, Dushyanth, along with his friends Suresh and Dayanand were proceeding in his Ford Figo car (KA-09-MD-9013) from Mysuru to T. Narasipur. When they were passing near a rice mill at about 11.30 pm, a pig came in front of the car all of a sudden and Dushyanth, who was driving the car, tried to avoid hitting the pig during which he lost control of the car, which hit a compound on the left side, ploughed into an agricultural field and toppled. Dushyanth, who was thrown out of the car sustained severe injuries and died 

T. Narasipur Sub-Inspector Tirumallesh, ASI Bhanuprakash and staff, rushed to the spot, conducted mahazar, shifted the injured to a private hospital in Mysuru and the body of Dushyanth to T. Narasipur General Hospital mortuary for post-mortem.

T. Narasipur Town Police, who have registered a case, are investigating.
