Mysuru: Kusuma Bheemaiah, Fitness and Aerobics trainer at Sports Park from Mysuru, shined in the 42nd National Masters Athletic Championship held at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai recently.

She secured gold medals in 400mts, 800mts, 4×100mts and 4×400mts relay while in 200mtrs she managed silver medal in the 40+ category.

With this outstanding per-formance, she has qualified for the International Master’s Athletic meet which will be held later this year or by early next year.

In the International Asian Athletic meet held at Malaysia in 2019, she had secured gold in 4×100 mtr relay and silver in 400mtr and 800mtr event.
