Spoorthi, BAI Ladies Wing office-bearers

Mysuru: The new team of office-bearers of Spoorthi, the Ladies Wing of Builders’ Association of India (BAI), Mysore Centre  for the year 2022-23, was installed at MBCT Auditorium recently.

Vani Subramanya was installed as the 21st President of Spoorthi by chief guest Vidushi Dr. Jyothi Shankar. The oath of office for the new office-bearers was administered by the guest of honour R. Raghunath, Chairman, BAI, Mysore Centre.

The other office-bearers are: Reena Praveen Pal, Immediate Past President; Rekha Yoganarasimha, Vice-President; Nanda Rathnaraj, Hon Secretary; Jahnavi Dinesh, Hon Treasurer; Anitha Sridhar, Geetha Puttaswamy, Lalitha Mohan, Jyothi Prabhu and Rekha Prakash – Executive Committee Members.

Vani Subramanya announced the theme of the year as ‘Challenges to Opportunities.’ Dr. Jyothi Shankar released the theme banner. Anupama Sriram and Sushma Vinodh were inducted as new members to Spoorthi. New members’ pledge was administered by Raghunath.

While addressing the gathering, Dr. Jyothi Shankar emphasised on how the organisation can be helpful to construction workers and their family to face challenges in their lives and convert those situations into opportunities.

Earlier, Vimla Veeresh rendered the invocation. Reena welcomed. Immediate Past Chairman K. Ajit Narayan released the annual report of Spoorthi 2021-22.  Rama Srikanth gave Secretary report of 2021-22. Jyothi Prabhu introduced the chief guest. Rekha Yoganarasimha introduced the guest of honour. Past President Anu Nandakumar introduced the new President. Past President Anitha Sridhar introduced new members.

Hon. Treasurer 2021-22 Kavitha Gururaj handed over the accounts to new Treasurer Jahnavi Dinesh. Hon. Secretary Nanda Rathnaraj proposed a vote of thanks. Rekha Raviprakash compered.
