Mysuru – Chennai Shatabdi Express temporarily augmented with ‘Swarn’ AC chair

Mysuru:  The Railways has temporarily augmented Train No. 12007/12008 Chennai – Mysuru – Chennai Shatabdi Express with one ‘Swarn’ Air-Conditioned chair car for a period of three months with effect from Feb. 10 to May 10 from both end.

The revised train composition will have two AC executive chair cars, eleven AC chair cars, one ‘Swarn’ AC chair car and two luggage-cum-brake van with generator.

Replacement of conventional coach with LHB rakes

South Western Railway (SWR)  has decided for replacement of conventional rakes of Train No. 22679/22680, Yesvantpur – Hassan – Yesvantpur Superfast Intercity Express and Train No. 12251/12252, Yesvantpur – Korba-Yesvantpur Bi-Weekly Express with LHB rakes. Details are as mentioned below:

Train No. 22679, Yesvantpur – Hassan Superfast Intercity Express with effect from Feb.11 from Yesvantpur end.

Train No. 22680, Hassan – Yesvantpur Superfast Intercity Express with effect from Feb. 12 from Hassan end.

Train No. 12251, Yesvantpur – Korba Bi-Weekly Expresswith effect from Feb.13 from  Yesvantpur end.

Train No. 12252, Korba – Yesvantpur Bi-Weekly Express with effect from Feb.15 from Korba end.

Train No. 22680, Yesvantpur -Hassan – Yesvantpur Superfast Intercity Express will have revised train composition of twelve chair car and two luggage cum brake van with generator and Train No. 12251/12252 Yesvantpur – Korba-Yesvantpur Bi-Weekly Express will have revised train composition of one AC-2 Tier coach, five AC-3 Tier coaches, eleven second class sleeper coaches, two general second class coaches and two luggage cum brake van with generator, according to a press release from the Chief Public Relations Officer, South Western Railway   (SWR), Hubballi.
