Mysuru District Kickboxing Championship: Vijay Academy bags 23 Gold Medals

Mysuru District Kickboxing Association under the aegis of WAKO Karnataka Kickboxing Association had organised district kickboxing championship at International Youth Hostel, Gokulam, Mysuru recently.  The championship was inaugurated by Ravikumar, President of International Youth Hostel, Saibaba Temple Trustee Srinavas and Narasimhaswamy, retired BSNL officer.

Kickboxers from Vijay Academy of Kickboxing won the Overall Championships with 23 gold medals.  Chandana V. Kumar of Deeksha Collage won 4 gold, R. Chaitra of Deeksha Collage won 3 gold, Anjushree of BASE College won 2 gold, R. Vaishali of Bharitiya Vidya Bhavan won 2 gold, Druthi Srikanth of Manasa Sarovara Pushkaani Vikdyashrama won 3 gold, Rohith Dhanaram of Excel Public School won 2 gold, Darshan Babu 4 gold and Prasad a software professional won 3 gold medals.

International Shoto Kan Karate Association won the runner-up title. The Kick boxers will represent Mysuru in the upcoming State Level Kickboxing Championships to be held either in Bengaluru or Mysuru.
