Mysuru Golfer Pranavi Urs wins amateur title

Mysuru golfer Pranavi S. Urs (JWGC), taking part in the Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tournament-2019, played at the Poona Golf Course in Pune from Jan.16 to 18, won the Amateur title with a three-day card of four-over-217 (73+74+70).

She also finished runner-up in the Open section with a three-day card of four-over-217 while Neha Tripathi clinched the Open section title with a three-day aggregate score of one-under-212.

Mysuru’s only professional women’s golfer Sonam Chugh finished 12th with a three-day card 238 (79+81+78).

Final Placings: 1. Neha Tripathi 212 (74+66+72), 2. Pranavi S. Urs 217 (73+74+70), 3. Diksha Dagar 219 (70+76+73), 4. Amandeep Drall 221 (72+72+77), 5. Afshan Fatima 222 (78+75+69).
