Mysuru PU College applications rejected: Was the regulations changed for this year?

June 24, 2019

Sir,

The reason for rejection of all 28 applications for new PU Colleges in city seems to be selective (SOM dated June 22). There are presently a number of PU Colleges  functioning in the city in apartment-like structures which do not meet the 2,000 sq mts or 4,000 sq mts without any hitch.

Was the regulations changed for this year? Or is it the change in the Government that has caused the rejection of applications. I am definitely not in favour of bending rules. The rules should be same for all and not biased.

If the Government is very strict, there will be scores of Colleges which will lose their recognition and licence. Will the authorities have the same yard stick for all please?
