Mysuru: Two young students representing Alliance District 255(S), Mysuru, have won prestigious awards in the Alliance International Green Poster Contest 2026-27, organised by the Association of Alliance Clubs International under the theme, ‘Inspired by Nature, for Climate, for Our Future.’

L. Nishal Mane, a student of SVEI School, Vijayanagar 4th Stage, secured the first prize in children category, winning a cash award of Rs. 50,000, an award shield and a certificate.

Abhinandan S. Gavimath of Baden Powell Public School won a Consolation Prize carrying Rs. 5,000 in cash and a certificate.

The final entries received from participating Alliance Districts were evaluated by Assistant Professors from the College of Fine Arts, JNAFAU, Hyderabad.

The prizes will be presented during the Annual International Convention Award Function of the Association in March 2027.

In recognition of successfully conducting the Green Poster Contest, the International Association has also announced a Special Recognition Award for District Governor Ally Mahabaleshwar Bairy of District 255(S).
