Mysuru Violinists to perform at Sri Lanka

Mysore/Mysuru: Internationally acclaimed Violin maestros Dr. Mysore Manjunath, Mysore Nagaraj and Sumanth Manjunath have been invited to perform a special Violin Trio concert at the Indian Embassy in Sri Lanka as part of the 75th anniversary celebrations of Indian independence “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” from Dec.27.

This special event is jointly organised by Government of India, MEA and Jaffna Chamber of Commerce.

Dr. Manjunath, who is a Professor in Music at the Fine Arts College, University of Mysore, will conduct a special music workshop at the Jafna University during this visit.  Though Manjunath, Nagaraj and Sumanth have performed innumerable concerts in over 40 countries, this is the first time they are performing overseas as a Trio.
