Nagaswara Concert at Ganabharathi tomorrow

Mysore/Mysuru: Ganabharathi has organised a Nagaswara concert by Vidwan Melukote M.G. Shreedhar and M.Y. Nagesh on Dec.18 at 6 pm at Veene Seshanna Bhavan in Kuvempunagar. They will be accompanied on the tavil by Vidwan H.C. Rajesh and Vidwan M.V. Ajay Kumar. All the music-lovers are requested to attend the concert and make the programme a success. 

The programme will be live on both Ganabharathi Facebook page and Youtube.

Melukote M.G. Shreedhar hails from a family of musicians. He learnt Nagaswaram both from his grandfather Vidwan S.Nagaraj as well as from his father M.N. Ganesh. He is a ‘B High’ graded artiste of AIR. He has performed in a number of prestigious organisations and is a recipient of many awards like Karnataka Vibhushana.   

Melukote M.Y. Nagesh is the son of M.N.Yoganarasimha. He is the Asthana Vidwan of the Cheluvanarayana Temple. He has performed in a number of prestigious sabhas all over the State and has earned many accolades. 

Vidwan M.V. Ajay Kumar is an experienced Tavil player. He is the son of Vidwan Venkatakrishna. He has performed all over the world in different forums. He is a highly sought after musician. 

Vidwan H.C. Rajesh is the son of the Nagaswara artiste H.T. Chandru. He is the disciple of the veteran Tavil artiste Vidwan R. Rajakumar and world renowned tavil player Vidwan Dr. Palanivel.
