‘Namma Ooru-Namma Ruchi’ Food Mela in city from Dec.17

In a bid to encourage women to become self-reliant, city’s Jana Spandana Trust, headed by former MLA M.K. Somashekar, has organised   a three-day ‘Namma Ooru-Namma Ruchi,’ a Food Mela from Dec.17 to 19 at Chikkamma Niketana Kalyana Mantap premises in Kuvempunagar.

Women can display and sell home-made food products during the 3-day food expo which will be open from morning till evening on all the three days, according to Corporator Shobha Sunil.
