Nanjangud boy, who had slipped into coma, dies

Mysuru: Abhi, the 14-year-old boy from Nanjangud taluk who had slipped into coma after undergoing a surgery for ear ailment at K.R. Hospital in the city on   Nov. 21, succumbed on Saturday afternoon.

Abhi had been battling for life after slipping into coma on Nov. 22 reportedly due to a brain haemorrhage and he breathed his last at 2 pm yesterday, according to hospital sources.

Meanwhile, the boy’s parents are said to have lodged a complaint with the jurisdictional Devaraja Police, accusing the K.R. Hospital doctors and other medical staff of negligence.
