Natana Award-2017 presented to Lakshmidevi Enagi Balappa

Mysuru – City’s Natana Theatre presented its Annual Natana Award-2017 to senior artiste Lakshmidevi Enagi Balappa during the inauguration of Raja Maja summer camp at Kalamandira recently.

Receiving the award, Lakshmidevi lauded the services of Mandya Ramesh for theatre.

Actor Mandya  Ramesh, who spoke earlier, introduced Lakshmidevi to audience stating that the senior artiste had served the theatre for more than 70 years.

The audience present at the venue also got a glimpse of Challenging Star Darshan, who was present as the chief guest.

Later, the children performed various cultural programmes.
