National Farmers Day celebrated

Mysore/Mysuru: Felicitation to farmers marked National Farmers Day celebration held at Shree Swaminarayana Gurukula International School at Belagola in Srirangapatna taluk recently.

Seer Sri Satsang Priyadas Swamiji, who graced the occasion, highlighted the significance of Farmers Day celebration. Pointing out that ensuring no wastage of food at all places and at all points of time and respecting the farming profession is the best way to honour our farmers, he said that farmers are the backbone of our country and as such, they should get their due in real terms. Several local farmers were feted on the occasion.

Seer Sri Harivallabhdas Swamiji, School Principal Bheema Reddy, Co-ordinator Satish and others were present.
