National Sports Day celebrated at Kuntibetta

Mysore/Mysuru: The Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, in association with Nehru Yuva Kendra (NYK), Mysuru and National Adventure Foundation (NAF), Karnataka-2, Mysuru,  celebrated Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and National Sports Day commemorating the birth anniversary of Maj. Dhyan Chand, at Kuntibetta in Pandavapura taluk of Mandya district recently.

C.R. Dinesh, Principal, Government PU College, Ballenahalli, delivered a special lecture on the occasion. R. Shivakumar, Vice-President, Automotive Axles, Mysuru, was the guest of honour. Dr. M. Mayigowda, President, Sri Shankarananda Educational Institutions, Kuntibetta, Pragathi Gopalakrishna, Senior Photographer, Rukmini Chandran, Director, NAF, Karnataka-2, Mysuru, S. Siddaramappa, Assistant Director, Nehru Yuva Kendra, and others were present.
