Mysore/Mysuru: Centre for Inclusive Growth and Development, Research, Mysuru, has organised a two-day national-level workshop and symposium on ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat: Ethno, Eco and Economic Development of Tribals in India’ on July 21 and 22 in collaboration with Basudeva Somani College, Kuvempunagar, Mysuru.

The programme will be sponsored by the Anthropological Survey of India, Kolkata. Experts from different Universities in the State and country, leaders of NGOs, researchers, research students, tribal experts, policymakers and others will actively participate in this national-level workshop. In this programme, there will be a discussion and presentation of articles on the issue of tribal development that has taken place in the country in the last 75 years.

Also, there will be a detailed discussion about further research on the issue of tribals. The seminar will be held in Kannada and English language.
