National Women’s Front stages protest against rape incidents in country

Mysore/Mysuru: Condemning the increasing sexual assault incidents in the country, the members of National Women’s Front staged a protest in front of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s statue in Town Hall premises here yesterday.

The protesters not only urged for the prevention of sexual assault incidents but also demanded capital punishment to the accused. 

National Women’s Front head Zarina Banu, who spoke, said that both the Central and State Governments had failed to provide protection to women and urged the Governments to take steps to prevent such incidents from taking place.

Organisation’s Sameena, Sania and others took part in the protest.
