Mysuru: The Department of Nutrition & Dietetics, JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research (JSS AHER), Mysuru, in collaboration with the Department of Nutrition & Dietetics, JSS Hospital, Mysuru and IAPEN India – Bengaluru Chapter, is organising a one-day National Workshop on ‘Evidence-Based Advances in Enteral & Parenteral Nutrition’ tomorrow (June 24)  at Sri Rajendra Centenary Auditorium, in city from 9 am to 5 pm. 

The workshop aims to provide students, healthcare professionals, academicians, researchers, dietitians, and nutrition practitioners with the latest evidence-based knowledge.  

The Speakers include Dr.  G.J. Himaal Dev, Chief Consultant – Critical Care, Apollo Hospital, Sheshadripuram, Bengaluru, Dr. Rajesh G. Hiremath, Founder & Director, Tatvagyana Institute of Training & Skill Development, Dr. Sreemathy Venkataraman, National Secretary – IAPEN-India, Chief Dietician, Trustwell Hospitals, Bengaluru, Dr. S. Shobharani, Intensivist & Associate Professor, Department of Anaesthesiology, JSS Hospital and Dietician team from JSS Hospital.  

The scientific sessions will focus on nutritional assessment, nutrition support in critical care, specialised enteral feeding strategies, advances in parenteral nutrition, management of feeding complications and multidisciplinary approaches to nutrition care.
