Mysuru: As part of an awareness programme on current environmental issues, the NCC cadets of Delhi Public School, Mysuru, under the aegis of 13 KAR BN NCC Mysuru, organised a lake cleaning drive under the theme “Ending Plastic Pollution Globally” to commemorate World Environment Day celebrations under the initiative  “Punit Sagar Abhiyan.”

A total of 45 cadets actively participated. They collected about 600 kgs of plastic and other waste materials. The drive was led by Third Officer M. Mamatha Prasad, ANO, DPS Mysuru along with the PI Staff of 13 KAR BN NCC Mysuru and the school’s yoga teacher. The activity concluded with a powerful message: “Together, we can make our Earth a better place to live.”
