‘NEP aims to build equitable and vibrant knowledge society’

Mysuru:  “National Education Policy-2019 (NEP-2019) envisions to transform our nation into an equitable and vibrant knowledge society by providing high-quality education to all,” opined Education expert Atul Bengeri.

He was delivering a special lecture at a programme organised by Vijaya Vittala School, Saraswathipuram in city for school teachers at the school auditorium on Saturday last.

“The Committee headed by its Chairman Dr. K. Kasturirangan submitted the Draft National Education Policy on May 31. National Education Policy has been drafted in an effort to encourage all students to develop scientific temper, knowledge of critical issues facing local communities, communication, ethical reasoning and  digital literacy,” he said.

Author and SOM Columnist Dr. Manik Bengeri, Principal of Vijaya Vittala PU College H. Satyaprasad, School Principal S.P. Asha and school teachers were present.
