Netaji’s concept of ‘Samagra Bharat’ means clean, strong and great India: Raghu Kautilya

January 28, 2021

Mysore/Mysuru: Maintaining that the concept of ‘Swachh Bharat, Balisht Bharat’ and ‘Shreshtha Bharat’ will pave the way for making the country ‘Samagra Bharat,’ as conceptualised by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, D. Devaraj Urs Backward Classes Development Corporation Chairman R. Raghu Kautilya said that we should  now make a pledge for realising Netaji’s dreams.

He was speaking at the 125th Jayanti celebrations of Netaji Subash Chandra Bose organised by Jai Hind Youth Organisation at Maharshi Educational Institutions in Vishweshwaranagar here recently.

Observing that while Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose was the motivating factor in the freedom struggle, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is now an inspirational figure for everyone, Raghu Kautilya said that it is the responsibility of every citizen of the country to make the PM’s ambitious initiative of ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat,’ a reality by promoting only ‘Made In India’ goods.

Asserting that Subash Chandra Bose believed that India cannot attain freedom only by non-violence means, he said that Netaji established the Indian National Army (INA) for liberating the country from the clutches of Britishers. Netaji is a very inspirational figure for every citizen at a time when the country is facing multiple challenges at the borders from hostile neighbours such as China and Pakistan, he contended.

Six persons were conferred Netaji Youth Award on the occasion. The awardees are as follows: Muthanna – Medical, P. Nanjundaswamy – Social Service, M.K. Vinay Babu – Hotel Industry, Star of Mysore Cartoonist and Fulbrighter M.V. Nagendra Babu (Banter Babu) – Media, Pradeep Gowda – Business and Belavatta Gram Panchayat Member Jabbi Ajju – Social Service.
