Netas responsible for setback to tourism: Hotelier P.V Giri

Mysuru: Lack of will among political netas has hindered the growth of tourism industry in Mysuru region, opined Siddartha Group of Hotels Chairman P.V Giri.

Speaking after releasing the 2018 calender and Diary brought out by the Mysuru District Journalists Association (MDJA) at MDJA premises in Agrahara here yesterday, Giri said that local traders are being harassed by the authorities.

As traders and businessmen live in a sense of fear, the tourism industry in Mysuru region has taken a hit, he rued.

Noting that all fields are undergoing a transformation these days, he said that, however, he could not see any change in our political system, which is   disappointing.
