Bengaluru:  After a show of resentment from the Congress camp over some of their recommendations for the posts of Chairman of Boards and Corporations not being cleared, CM H.D. Kumaraswamy on Wednesday cleared four Congress legislators to take charge as Heads of Boards and Corporations.

Those appointed were Yashwantpur MLA  S.T. Somashekar as Chairman of Bangalore Development Authority (BDA), Shantinagar MLA N.A. Haris as Chairman of BMTC, Bagepalli MLA S.N. Subbareddy as Chairman of Karnataka Silk Industries Corporation and Hubballi-Dharwad (East) MLA Prasad Abbayya as Chairman of Babu Jagjvan Ram Leather Industries Development Corporation.

But the appointments of Chikkaballapur MLA K. Sudhakar as KSPCB Chairman and Doddaballapur MLA T. Venkataramaiah as Chairman of KRDCL are yet to be cleared.
