New DCP Vishnuvardhana to act tough on law-breakers

Mysuru: N. Vishnuvardhana took charge as the DCP (Law and Order) at the City Police Commissioner’s Office here this morning.

The charge was handed over to him by DCP (Crime and Traffic) Dr. Vikram V. Amathe.

Speaking to Star of Mysore, DCP Vishnuvardhana said that his first priority would be to see that this year’s Dasara and Ganesha festivals are held peacefully.

Stating that he had zero tolerance against criminals, Vishnuvardhana warned of stringent action against those who take law into their hands.
