Mysore/Mysuru: S. Thalikerappa, who has been appointed as the Managing Director (MD) of Bank Note Paper Mill India Private Limited (BNPMIPL), Mysuru, assumed charge on June 16.

He was earlier working with Bharatiya Reserve Bank Note Mudran Private Limited as Senior General Manager and was also on the Board of BNPMIPL.

He is a Graduate in Electronics & Communication Engineering with Diploma in Management and MBA in HR & Marketing having accomplished service in various companies with over 32 years.

Bank Note Paper Mill is a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) of Government of India, jointly promoted by Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited (SPMCIL) — A Government of India enterprise and Bharatiya Reserve Bank Note Mudran Private Limited (BRBNMPL) — A wholly owned subsidiary of Reserve Bank of India (RBI) engaged in production of Bank Note Papers to meet the requirement of the Nation. BNPMIPL caters to the requirement of currency papers of the four Presses situated at Mysuru & Salboni belonging to BRBNMPL and Dewas & Nasik belonging to SPMCIL.
