Mysore/Mysuru: The installation ceremony of Senior Chamber International: Responsible and Active Citizenship Forum Mysore Legion was held at a private hotel in city recently. National President Snr. Csl. Prof. Varghese Vaidyan was the chief guest.

The new office-bearers are as follows: Snr. Manjunath – President, Snr. B. Asha – Secretary, Ullas Shankar – Treasurer and Darshini Manjunath –  Seniorete Chairperson.

National President inaugurated the programme by watering a plant on the dais in the presence of a family gathering of 60 members.

Mysore Legion President Snr. Manjunath handed over the cheque of Annual Subscription fees of 40 Members to the National President. Past President Snr. Dharmendra contributed PPF to National President on the occasion. 

Highlight of the ceremony was 10 new Members were inducted to Mysore Legion, followed by fellowship in the outdoor area of the venue.

Service Activity: Mysore Legion had organised sports shoes for underprivileged deaf students who have won prizes in State   and National Sports competition in the presence of 50 deaf students and Chairman  Murthy of District Deaf Association in Madhava Krupa.

National President Snr. Varghese Vaidyan handed over the sports shoes to the students.

Murthy appreciated the Forum’s social service activity and asked them to associate with the District Deaf Association for carrying out more works.
