Mysore/Mysuru: Earth Brigade Foundation, a Mumbai-based NGO, has donated Oxygen Concentrators to various Forest Departments across the country.

The Foundation decided to take the initiative and has redirected help to the frontline wildlife protection warriors of the Forest Departments and also to the poor people in and around the forests to have the basic emergency life saver. 

Earth Brigade Foundation has provided 25 Oxygen Concentrators along with disposable nasal cannula to be used in case of an emergency until help reaches the patient or till the patient reaches the nearest healthcare centre or use it for days after the initial recovery until the weaning off is successful. 

While seven equipment were donated to Nagarahole, two machines were given ton Bandipur, two to Biligiri Ranganatha Temple Wildlife Sanctuary and two machines were donated to Cauvery Wildlife Sanctuary.

The NGO also donated six equipment at Uttarakhand, four machines to Rajasthan, three to Uttar Pradesh, two machines to Tamil Nadu, two to Madhya Pradesh and one machine to West Bengal Forest Departments.
