No fare hike for student bus pass

Bengaluru: Transport Minister and Deputy CM Laxman Savadi ruled out any proposal for hike in tariff of bus passes issued to students at concessional rate.

In a press release here, he scotched off rumours of hike in bus passes tariff and also ruled out any plans to change the guidelines while issuing the concession pass. The State Government has not taken any decision in this regard. Whatever rules followed last year will be followed during the current academic year and the rate of concession will remain unchanged, the Minister added.
