No proposal to hand over Talacauvery Temple to Tourism Dept.: Minister

Belagavi: Minister for Textiles and Muzrai  Rudrappa Manappa Lamani has clarified that there was no proposal to hand over  Sri Bhagandeshwara Temple at Bagamangala and Talacauvery Temples in Kodagu to Tourism Department.

Replying to a question of Veena Achaiah at the Legislature Session here on Tuesday, the Minister said that good infrastructure has been provided to people visiting the aforementioned temples and added that they were currently under the Muzrai Department.  He further said that the two temples were under Category-A of Department of Religious Endowment and were providing drinking water, toilets, change room and Dasoha facility and added that development works were being taken periodically.
