NR Traffic Police hold road safety awareness bike rally in city

Mysore/Mysuru: Narasimharaja (NR) Traffic Police, as part of the 32nd National Road Safety Month, conducted a bike rally in city this morning,  to create awareness on safety and precautions to be taken while riding or driving vehicles and also on traffic rules.

The rally, comprising about 200 bikers, was flagged off from St, Philomena’s Church premises by Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) – Traffic Sandesh Kumar.

The bikers, carrying placards with messages on road safety,  passed through Ashoka Road, Nehru Circle, Irwin Road, Government Ayurveda Hospital Circle, Sayyaji Rao Road, Highway Circle, Nelson Mandela Road, Millennium Circle, Fountain Circle, Ashoka Road and culminated at the starting point.

NR Traffic Inspector Prasanna Kumar, Sub-Inspector Raghu, Assistant Sub-Inspectors Purushotham, Shiva Ramachandra & Raju and other staff were present on the occasion.
