Govinda, a retired Excise Sub-Inspector, passed away at a private hospital here yesterday following brief illness. He was 60.

A resident of 5th Cross, Kesare 2nd Stage, he leaves behind his wife Lakshmi, three daughters, a son and a host of relatives   and friends.

Last rites were performed at Thibbadevi burial ground in N.R. Mohalla this afternoon.
