Corporator assures of making alternate arrangements for the family to stay

Mysuru: An old and weak tiled-roofed house on the 7th Cross in Gayathripuram first stage collapsed due to continuous rain in the wee hours of yesterday.

The house belongs to one Thimmaiah, who was staying in the house along with his children.

At about 4 am today, the family members heard noises and rushed out of the house during which the entire house collapsed rending the family without shelter. Luckily, no major injuries or loss of life was reported.

Meanwhile, Ward No.38 Corporator Sathyaraju, who rushed to the spot along with MCC officials, is making efforts to make alternate arrangement for the family to stay besides instructing the officials concerned to take necessary action.

The Corporator has assured the family of making arrangements for them to stay.
