One arrested for house burglary and two-wheeler lifting

Mysore/Mysuru: City Crime Branch (CCB) Police, on June 27,  have arrested a man on charges of committing house burglaries and interrogated him during which the accused is said to have confessed of committing house burglaries in Mysuru, Mandya and lifting a two-wheeler in Biligere Police limits.

Based on the information provided by the accused, the Police have recovered 53 grams gold ornaments, 1.5 kg silver articles, one TV and one two-wheeler all worth Rs. 4.7 lakh from him.

Following the arrest, the CCB Police have solved one house burglary case at Alanahalli                           Police Station, two house burglary cases in Mandya and one two-wheeler lifting case at Biligere Police Station.

CCB ACP S.N. Sandesh Kumar guided CCB Inspector G. Shekar, Sub-Inspector Maruthi Antaragatti, ASI Asgar Khan and staff Saleem Pasha, Ramaswamy, A. Umamahesh, Lakshmikanth, Prakash, Suresh, Mahesh, Ravishankar, Mohanaradhya and others in the nabbing and recovery operation.
