Karnataka Ekikarana Trust will be organising three one-woman shows in memory of Dr.SiddanathaBallari, who fought for freedom and unification of Karnataka, at Mini Theatre in Kalamandira premises from June 26 to 28 at 6 pm.The three-day event will be inaugurated by Thinker and Columnist N. Diwakar. Chamaraja MLA K. Harishgowda will preside. Playwright Dr. Sujatha Akki will be present. Senior Theatre Person N.S. Gopinath will deliver the keynote address.  

The plays are designed and directed by Dr. Sujatha Akki. ArasikereYogananda is the Assistant Director, M.P. Aruna has designed the costumes, SiddeshwaraBadanavalu has composed music, Jeevan Heggod has designed the lights and Dr. B.S. Divya will compere. Entry fee is Rs. 100 per show. 

Plays: June 26 – ‘Ahalye’ by Harinakshi Rao; June 27 – ‘AkkaNagale’ by Dr. B.S. Divya; June 28 – ‘Aghale’ by Dr. Suma Ravikumar, according to a press release from the KarnatakaEkikarana Trust.
