Mysuru: Orientation Programme (2025-26) will be held at GSSS Simha Subbamahalakshmi First Grade College (GSSS SSFGC), Metagalli, tomorrow (June 30) at 11 am to welcome and guide newly admitted students of BBA, B.Com and BCA.

Yoga Guru and Social Activist Srihari will be the chief guest. RIMSE Mysuru Correspondent Swami Mahamedhanandaji will be the guest of honour.

GSSS Secretary Anupama B. Pandit will preside. GSSS Member and CEO R.K. Bharath and GSSS SSFGC Principal Dr. T.S. Rakesh will be present. The event is coordinated by Head of the Department of Commerce and Business Administration Dr. K.S. Sreekrishna and Head of the BCA Department G. Nethra.

At St. Philomena’s

Deeksharambh 2025, a 3-day Orientation Programme for 1st year UG students has been organised by the IQAC at St. Philomena’s College in Bannimantap from June 30 to July 2.

June 30: Inauguration at 9.30 am followed by ‘Ignite your journey.’ Rev. Fr. Richard Menezes, Superior & Director, Dhyana Sadhana, Mysuru, will be present; July 1: Multiple Sessions from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm; July 2: ‘Fuel your potential’ from 9.30 am. Prof. D. Parashivamurthy, Asst. Professor of Commerce, GFGC, Hullahalli, Dr. Ravi J.D. Saldanha, Principal, Rev. Fr. Gnana Pragasam, Administrator, Rev. Fr. S. David Sagayaraj, Asst. to Rector, M. Nagaraj Urs, Vice-Principal (Academic) and Ronald Prakash Cutinha, Vice-Principal (Administration), will be present. Rev. Dr. Lourdu Prasad Joseph, Rector, will preside.
