Paediatric HIV kits donated to Asha Kirana Hospital

Mysuru:  To commemorate the UNAIDS (United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS) theme of World AIDS Day ‘Global Solidarity & Shared Responsibility,’ Dr. Renu Agrawal, former Chief Scientist and Rural Programme Coordinator, has donated four Paediatric HIV kits to measure CD4 cells in children to Asha Kirana Hospital in Mysuru, totally worth Rs. 1 lakh. 

This will help early detection of HIV in children to start medication early so that they can have a healthy and fruitful life. 

Earlier, she had donated a serum analyser to Asha Kirana Hospital to check HIV in the  blood serum.
