K.G.S. Bhat (88), retired Civil Engineer at CFTRI and a resident of Vijayanagar 3rd Stage, passed away on July 1 in city. He leaves behind his wife K. Jayalakshmi, sons Aroon and Ajith, daughter Anita and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held at Mukthidhama in Vijayanagar 4th Stage on July 2.

Ln. H. Mudde Gowda (92), a resident of Vontikoppal, passed away this morning in city. He leaves behind his wife Jayalakshmi, son P.M. Shivakumar, daughter-in-law, daughters P.M. Shuba and P.M. Meena, sons-in-law, grand-children and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held at Chirashanthidhama in Gokulam this evening.
