The following were elected as office-bearers of JSS Layout First Stage Residents Welfare Association for 2021-23. M. Mahadev – President;  M. Shadakshari – Vice-President;  B.N. Chandrakanth – Secretary; M. Nandeeshwara – Joint  Secretary; Shivakumaraswamy – Treasurer; Puttanna, Venk-ataramaiah, Basavanna, Shivanna, G.C. Rajanna, P. Basappa, Dundamadappa,  G. Mahesh, M.S. Mangala and M.S. Manjunath – all Directors.

M.H. Radha (76), wife of late Dr. K.L. Lingaiah and a resident of Kurikempanadoddi village near here, passed away at the village. Sister of sandalwood actor late Ambarish, she leaves behind one son and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at Kurikempanadoddi Burial Grounds this morning, according to sources.
