Shivaji Rao (64), a timber merchant and a resident of Boti Bazaar, passed away yesterday evening following a heart attack. He leaves behind his wife, two sons, daughter-in-law, two daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed this afternoon.

Nagamma (77), a resident of Vinobha Colony in the taluk, passed away yesterday afternoon in the town. She leaves behind son Chennaveeraiah, District Congress Rural Secretary, daughter-in-law, three daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed yesterday evening.

Susheelamma (86), wife of late Subramanya and a resident of Ramakrishnanagar in the city, passed away yesterday. She leaves behind two sons, a daughter and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at the foot of Chamundi Hill today.

D. Parashiva Shetty (63), a retired Judicial Officer of the city, passed away at Bengaluru on Sunday. He had served as the Chief Administrative Officer at Mysuru, Nanjangud, Chamarajanagar and Ballari Courts. After retirement, he practiced as an advocate in Mysuru.
