Pakistan has been taught a befitting lesson: Writer

March 2, 2019

Mysuru: Maintaining that there was nothing wrong in India’s air-strikes on Pakistan soil as terror outfits operated from that country, writer Prof. H.S. Ramachandregowda has said that Tuesday’s early morning air-strikes on Pak terror camps was a befitting lesson to that country, which posed a threat to India’s security.

He was speaking at the valedictory of theatre and folklore training camp organised by city’s Gouthama Shaikshanika mattu Samskrutika Seva Trust in Kalamandira premises here on Tuesday. Pointing out that Kashmir is an integral part of the country, he lauded the Indian Air Force for destroying terror camps operating from Pakistani soil.

Observing that everyone should condemn religious fundamentalism, Ramachandregowda reiterated that the air-strikes were a retaliation to the Pulwama terror attack, in which over 40 CRPF Jawans were martyred.

Noting that art and music has the power to overcome pressures and mental stress, he said art, literature, music and the like play an important role in building human values among people.

Stating that art and literature advocate equality and progressiveness, he called upon everyone to have a good understanding of religious thoughts.

Writer Prof. Kalegowda Nagawara, Maharaja’s College Principal Prof. C.P. Sunitha, faculties Krishnamurthy Talakad, Nagaraj and others were present.
