Part-time job: Online fraudster cheats woman of Rs. 80,000

Mysore/Mysuru: Online fraudster has cheated a woman of Rs. 80,000 on the pretext of getting her a part time job.

The woman, who was cheated, is a resident of Veeranagere and an employee of a private firm.

The fraudster, who had sent a website link pertaining to online part time job to the phone number of the woman, told her to click on the link and follow the instructions.

Later, the fraudsters siphoned off a total of Rs. 80,000 in stages thus cheating her.

A case has been registered at city’s CEN Police Station.
